Welcome and Thanks!

***** A Notice****** Thanks to so many for coming to this blog over the past year and becoming such great blog friends. I have learned much and laughed often. Yet as the author of 2 blogs I have often felt... well... disjointed. In an effort to marry the 2 sides of my life, and to hopefully continue on in my relationship with you the reader, I am now combining my blogs into 1 new one. I do so hope that you will join me here. I just love hearing your happy voices as often as I can! See you soon......................

Good-Byes

We have been out of contact with all of you for a while now because our minds are burdened and our hearts are heavy. Our old guy Bailey has taken a turn for the worst and we have made the most impossible decision that we are ever asked to make. I can give the prognosis and stats but really what does it matter? Many of you have been in my shoes before, maybe even more than once and you know that no matter what's going on with your best friend... you just know when it's time. Yet, it is still so unnatural, your heart is telling you to hold on, protect, don't give up, see them through. Your mind knows, and your heart fights you every step of the way. I ask all of you to pray. I know Bailey is going on before me and he will bound up, healthy and well, to meet me someday at the gates of heaven. So, when I ask for prayer I ask for me. He is going to be healed soon but my heart will be broken. I ask that you pray for some healing of a broken heart. I will miss him so much.

  2. As my mom always tells her furiends (or khomments on the blogs with me), from the moment you let us into your hearts and lives, you know what will happen one day - that you will hurt - but the joy we try to bring you each day will help lessen the pain although it will not prevent it -

Please know you've got lots of here - and lots of us already there ready to be of the kind of help we khan be -

Karen Ramstead always reminds those on SiberNet that 'we tell our dogs how much we love them - this is the time we get to prove it to them'

  4. We are so very sorry to hear about Bailey. It just doesn't seem right. I once read a poem written by a child that explains why pups don't live as long as we'd like. I'd like to find it again someday but the jist of it is: They have such unconditional love for us and have learned all the lessons to be learned but we hoomans don't learn as well or as fast. So we have to stay around longer. It is a very hard thing but if we try to remember the many good times and fun we had it helps.
They continue to live in our hearts and we can picture them free from pain and being happy and playing with friends. Take care. We are thinking of you.

  5. We are so sorry. Your Bailey will be by your side even if in spirit. Cherish the wonderful times, the warmth, the memories.... These times always come too quickly....we are never ready to say goodbye to our best friends.
Your words are so peaceful, thoughtful...our hearts are heavy and go out to you. Prayers.

    Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
    Sierra Rose and mom

  6. Dear Rachel,
We would like, very much, to send our love, hearts and prayers to your side today! It is never an easy decision, but when the time is right, is indeed the greatest act of love you can give your dear one. We might also be in your boat one day...no one is immune to this possibility.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Consider yourself hugged.
    With love from
